Downtown Valdosta Georgia

This is Michele's story of this day

We took pictures in front of the Converse Dalton Ferrell house which is one of the historic sites in Valdosta. We hoped to have lunch at 306 North but it was closed...maybe next time! We did get to have lunch at Vinnie's Rock and Roll pizzaria which is a very interesting old home with a beautiful wrap-around porch. We sat outside by the fountain until we moved into the shade on the side of the house. We ate a spinach, artichoke, tomato, feta pizza which was delicious. Vinnie's is rumored to be haunted but we did not see any ghosts. Unfortunately we forgot to take pictures at Vinnies. We were too busy watching the hispanic family with their baby and little girl. On a different day we went downtown again and for dessert at Hildegards. We had a delicious chocolate-caramel pie...well not the whole pie, only a couple pieces of it! There was a man sitting at the next table and we were trying to figure out if he was laughing or crying. Mom decided he must be laughing because he was playing a musical instrument. We later determined that the music was coming from the speakers above our heads. I am not sure if the man had an instrument or not but I hope he was not crying! Not surprisingly, we forgot to take pictures at Hildegards too. However, both Hildegards and Vinnie's are walking distance from the pictures in this album!
